The morals of humans are slipping away,
Day by day, and more each day.
What once was wrong is now okay,
And what was once taboo is now just a display.
The world seems to be losing its grip,
As people start to slowly slip,
Into a world of greed and vice,
Where wrong is right, and virtue has no price.
From the youth to the aged,
No one seems to be spared,
As they indulge in acts so vile,
That morality is left with no smile.
Honesty and truth have lost their way,
As people lie and cheat their way,
To the top of the ladder of life,
Where only money and power are rife.
Humanity seems to have lost its heart,
As it indulges in acts that tear it apart,
From the inside out, with no care or thought,
For the consequences of what it has wrought.
The morals of humans are degrading fast,
And unless we stop this fall and make it last,
Our world will be left with nothing but despair,
As we descend into a moral nightmare.
