In an untempered weather,
I opened my heart;
Penning down words,
Reminiscing memories of the past.
Our meeting was undestined,
A mystical one;
Began with dust on my cheek,
And her gaze being meek.
From the warm sky,
Showering heavenly raindrop smiles,
She captures my soul,
Giving butterflies inside.
Though I limit myself,
With admiration,
She never fails to care for me,
With utmost dedication.
My Greed for wealth,
Grinded her health,
Yet she had not complained,
Even when it brings her death.
I know her sickness,
I know her pain,
But I stood unhelpful,
With my hopes turning vain.
Long before it really hit me,
Fate has decided the time of my conflict,
Pulling me down,
By lifting her up.
Grieving on one side,
Feeling grateful on the other,
Pandemic provided the opportunity,
To fulfill her dreams as a community.
Now, even the quarantine days
In lockdown period, feels blissful;
With me thinking of her inside,
And she waiting for me outside.
Thank you mother earth,
It's time for me to love you;
Forever, even more.
