Once upon a time, in a house not too far,
Lived a mischievous mouse, who loved to play the guitar.
His name was Jerry, and he loved to have fun,

He'd jump over traps, and dodge every bait,
And leave the family frustrated and irate.
But little did he know, that his time was running out,
For the family had a secret, they had no doubt.

They hired a cat, who was big and fat,
To catch the mouse, and put an end to that.
The cat's name was Tom, and he was quite mean,
He'd chase after Jerry, with eyes full of gleam.

But Jerry was sly, and he knew how to hide,
He'd find secret places, where Tom couldn't abide.
He'd taunt and tease him, from the safety of his lair,
And leave Tom fuming, without a hair.

But one day, Jerry got a bit too bold,
He snuck into the kitchen, to steal some gold.
But Tom was there, waiting in the wings,
And before Jerry knew it, he was caught in his strings.

Tom was about to pounce, and end Jerry's reign,
But something strange happened, and it was quite insane.
Jerry started to dance, and sing and play,
And Tom was so mesmerized, he just couldn't slay.

They became fast friends, and played all day long,
Jerry on guitar, and Tom singing songs.
The family was shocked, but happy all the same,
For now they had two pets, and not just a game.

So if you ever see a mouse, and think to harm,
Remember this tale, and don't be too alarmed.
For with a bit of humor, and a lot of love,

And that's how the story of Jerry and Tom ends,

And even write a hit song, called "Mouse and Cat Balls."

People loved their humor, and their crazy antics,
They'd laugh until they cried, at the pair's gymnastics.
Jerry would ride on Tom's back, like a rodeo bull,
And Tom would chase Jerry, like a cat and mouse duel.

But even with all their success, they never forgot,
Their humble beginnings, and the lessons they were taught.
That love and humor, can conquer it all,
And that even the smallest creature, can have a ball.
