To know what is righteousness, one needs to know the importance of being in a right path. Firstly to be a righteousness follower, a person should know the real meaning of karma and dharma which are the two main factors of human’s life. ‘dharma’; what is dharma, think about yourself in your inner mind. What do you think the meaning will be? Is it doing the things in a right way? Or, is it a thing which defines to a human how to survive? Dharma is a main component to the theme of righteousness. As you know they are many meanings for dharma. Firstly a person who’s really a follower of dharma will come to know what is required to do in a situation, and when to resolve it! Whenever you feel that there’s something wrong which is happening infront of you, or there’s something which should not be done in that way. Questioning others or yourself is the first step to resolve that situation. Instead, if you are just being dumb in that situation after knowing that something is wrong, there , you are also being a part of that ‘adharma’ situation. If a person really want to follow or go in a dharma path, he/ she needs to sacrifice their fear first to present something infront of world. For eg:- there’s a classroom full of students, who didn’t prepare for the exam after having stipulated time for their preparation. The whole class is in unity i.e to cheat the teacher and to copy answers together as they are good friends. But there’s boy who also don’t know the topics to read in the exam, but he didn’t ask anyone the doubts or didn’t even cheat in the exam. Not because he’s not having friends, but just because he know if he cheats in the exam, he’s not only cheating the teacher but also cheating himself. It doesn’t mean that the others in the class don’t know about this, they know it but they just don’t listen to their heart! This poor boy is also a follower of dharma, not completely but atleast knows that the others are doing mischief. So he tried to complain to teacher as these people are cheating in the exam. Unfortunately the poor boy got hatred by everyone in back as he complained to teacher. But he is actually so pleasant, peaceful, delighted and enlightened, as he knows that, he didn’t sacrifice the way of ‘dharma’. At the end when the results were posted, yes, the boy may not be the topper as he also don’t know what to write in the exam. But atleast wrote something in the exam which is related to that particular topic. He was the one of the person, who got average marks in the class. And the people who tried to cheat ended up in crying as they got very least marks. See yourself, if you are really a follower of ‘dharma’ you can’t stay like a rock when some wrong things are happening right in front of you. The boy knows that he no longer will be liked by everyone but actually he even knows encouraging these kind of things, to his friends is no longer good if they want to succeed in their lives.
If really those friends who are united together to do this kind of thing, can’t they do a good thing that is “they can teach their companions before the exams”? Instead of encouraging them to do the mischief things, one can come forward to study together and declare that they can write well in the exams. But this didn’t happen, those friends just encouraged the others to go in the wrong way and trying to make them completely depend on them. So if you want to be a follower of ‘dharma’, enlighten yourself, boost yourself, sacrifice yourself in the fire of truthfulness. In this way you can gain the inner peace of your soul. ‘Dharma’ in turn results in karma i.e ‘Deeds’. If you are a follower of ‘dharma’, you result back in having good deed that is ‘good karma’. If you are sacrificing the way of ‘dharma’ you are inviting the evil deeds that is ‘bad karma’. Now what is this ‘karma’? “How is it interrelated to ‘dharma’?”The things which you do on everyday basis come under ‘Karma’, it is actually divided into two: subha karma or good deeds, buri karma or evil deeds. If you participate in ‘dharma’ related issues, you will be backing over the good deeds, but if you ever have a thought of ‘Adharma’ in your mind , you will be processed to evil deeds. According to mythology in shree ram’s story, he was a king who follows the path of righteousness i.e shree ram didn’t sacrifice the path of dharma and even didn’t sit ideally without performing any karma. As far as we know , even in Mahabharat mythology also, the war between kaurvas and pandavas came into existence just because of the ‘Adharma’ which had crossed it’s line. They became god, not just because he/she is an avathar of some other god, but actually because of their response to ‘dharma’ had their way back to good deed i.e ‘Karma’, and indeed got respected by people of earth, worshiped by people, and got frightened also.
If a person follows both dharma and never stops doing his ‘karma’ , he or she will always be treated as right person in this universe. Analyze the situation, think what is good and bad, see the both negative and positive outcomes of a problem, when someone is doing wrong try to question, lose all your fears, boost up your confidence levels, be good at decision making, try to be a problem solver, and also the main thing is, never ever try to sacrifice the way of dharma. The most important thing is when you are doing something, don’t care about the results of it. Just believe in yourself, the question you put to the people may be today they will reject or neglect it, but one fine day they’ll be understanding their own mistakes. But that doesn’t mean; you should stay calm, rise yourselves and stand against the injustice which is happening in front of you. Remember if you don’t put an end today, one fine day even you can get regret as you didn’t stay on your words. When you follow the righteous path, without thinking the results of it, your soul will be slowly towards the god i.e [eswar]. Be sure of your struggle and be aware of wrong doings!!!
