Coronavirus is a disease that is caused by virus from a mild cold to severe problems. It is a new strain of virus that is not identified earlier in humans. It began in Wuhan, China, and has now spread to millions of individuals.

Coronavirus is a respiratory disease that can have adverse effects on your health if not taken protective measures on time. It was identified in 2019 ,has caused respiratory illness.

Coronavirus stick to the surfaces but can be killed by using disinfectants.

Since the new coronavirus is highly contagious, it can easily spread from person to person. Although people infected with the coronavirus are more likely to transmit the virus, even if they are asymptomatic. You can also spread the virus by touching an infected surface. If anybody touches Mouth or nose, again and again the coronavirus can spread.

Everyone should be very careful and should take precautionary measures to protect their health.

These precautionary measures are

  • Wash your hands thoroughly.
  • Wear mask properly.
  • Keep your slippers or shoes out of the house and wash them daily.
  • Avoid shaking hands.
  • Don't eat junk food. Eat healthy food.
  • Bath daily.
  • If having cough, fiver, or cold immediately consult your doctor.
  • Keep on checking oxygen level after small intervals of time.
  • Avoid going outside unnecessary.
  • Don't touch your face.

  • Don't share your personal belongings with others. This includes glasses, cutlery, toothbrushes, lip balms, and more.
  • At home, clean sensitive surfaces such as doorknobs, keyboards, and railings with a household cleaner or diluted bleach.
  • Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after touching surfaces such as elevator or ATM buttons, gas station knobs, or food carts.

If you have trouble breathing and think your symptoms are similar to those of COVID-19, stay home and consult your doctor.

By taking these above measures we not only protect our life but other's life too. So these above steps are very necessary to follow. You should be very careful if are going out.

What if I have symptoms of COVID-19?

If someone have COVID-19 symptoms, one should stay home and call doctor. If you have travelled abroad or had contact with someone, tell your doctor what symptoms you are experiencing and how severe your symptoms are.

You may need to be tested if:

If you are an older person with severe symptoms, your doctor will determine if you need to get tested and what type of treatment is best for you.

If your symptoms are mild and there are no health problems, your doctor may advise you to stay at home, get some rest, stay hydrated, and avoid contact with other people. It is important to call doctor if symptoms worsen after a few days of rest.

Coronavirus have very mild ,moderate and even serious symptoms also. These symptoms differ from people to people. Some have only mild fever or cough and they are curing themselves at home without hospitalization. Some people are having moderate symptoms like fever, pain in body, Loss of taste or smell, conjunctivitis.

Some are having serious symptoms like Chest pain, difficulty in breathing.

One should take doctor consultation if suffering from severe symptoms. Also in case of mild and moderate symptoms consult the doctor and start your medicine immediately so that you cannot suffer from serious issues.

A person can also be infected by coronavirus without having fever with a mild cold.

A person liver is temporarily damaged during coronavirus but it can lead to serious problems if not taken medical advise.

It has been proved that Covid 19 vaccines are effective. By getting vaccinated we can protect by our lives as well as others life's too. Even we get affected by Covid 19 after vaccinated we are protected from serious illness.

However, corona vaccine are given first priorty in the states which are highly affected and for those who are frontline workers.

Frontline workers are doctor, police ,nurses who have the high risk of being infected.

Also wash hands with soap and water especially when you are in a public place. If soap and water are not available then sanitize your hands with alcohol based sanitizer.

By alcohol based sanitizer we mean it should contain 60% ethanol.

There are places where social distance is difficult to maintain then you should wear N-95 mask and also gloves so that you may not come in contact with the surfaces.

Even if the person is fully vaccinated he can be Covid 19 positive. So you should get yourself tested immediately if the symptoms appears. But you may not be at the risk of hospitalization but you can infect the person who is not vaccinated and transmit the virus.

A person can do prior booking to nearby centers to get vaccinated. However, vaccines are free of cost for all citizens. But the government has decided if private hospitals want to charge they can charge up to 150 INR and that also the service charge per dose.
