For years, I tried catching hold of the star
For years, clouds kept dodging me far
Mysticism never let me demystify
The star remained blurred, with a plethora of fog for the eye
And then there was her, a doe so bewitching!
Enchanted, I starred lo and behold!
Alas! Split second she manoeuvred away.
Gone forever but stayed etched even today
I dived deep into the ocean, hoping bright
The Marines had beckoned to have a wonderful sight
Although, I was so close to them
They twirled in a whirlwind, disappointed was I
To recapitulate these similes with the lady in the veil
Fascinating as she's been over the years
It's been difficult to decipher the face in vain
A mysterious world exists beyond the veil
She laughs like a child, giggles galore
She cries, yet tears don't unfold
She talks on twitter chirping away
She yells and her anger fades away
My adorning lady, who are you?
Are you an angel like a star?
Or the timid deer lost afar
Maybe a mermaid, a metaphor?
The beauty, and the aura are in tact
Unpretentious and deft in fact
Walking tall, she's simply indefatigable
Will I ever get to know you, the lady behind the veil?
