Gone are those beautiful days of life,
When for our favourite cartoons, we used to strife.

The Simpsons are a family left in our past,
We’ll never forget the round black sphere for a bomb’s blast!
The saviours of the world, The Powerpuff Girls are all gone,
When comparisons of them with the Avengers were drawn!

SpongeBob SquarePants was an unforgettable emotion,
Leaving our studies, we watched it with utmost devotion.
Scooby Doo was every child’s favourite dog,
There was a time when kids talked about him during their daily jog!

We all miss Shaun The Sheep,
Anything bad happened to him and we would uncontrollably weep.
Can’t forget the inventions in Dexter’s Laboratory,
As we dreamt of making one of our inventory!

Then there is Ben 10 on the list,
How desperate we were to have that super cool watch he wore on his wrist!
Last but not the least are Tom & Jerry,
Those boring hours of the day, they made it merry!

But now we are grown-ups with a lot of responsibility,
Can’t watch them and be kids again, all thanks to our duty!
Such sublime days of life every human buries,
Oh, the Childhood Memories!
