The sun strikes gold in the azure-lit sky,
Ushering life unto nature, the day’s first cry;
The sapphire streams that originate from the horizon,
Imbues the emerald hue amid the lush green,
The stones reflect iridescence fabricating a blissful haze,
The blue, the green and the buff constitute an eternal maze;
Here the paths through the jungle endlessly diversify,
Like the bark and the canopy which ceaselessly ramify;
The call of the peacocks clashes with the chirping of dove,
While the elephant’s trumpet echoes with the jeep’s rove;
Which leaves a mist of dust in its trail,
While slowly embracing the forest’s very own veil;
Here time evades capture, slipping like sand,
And the sun falls free, merging with the land;
The cold, here, grips fast, making us shiver,
While the breeze lets the starlit leaves quiver;
But soon the moon bathes the earth with silver,
The ever-flowing rivers light up, so does the thick sliver;
And the black night engulfs the planet in a dark crater,
Only to be rescued by the sun sometime later...
