Courage, rising from a deep chamber of soul;
Oh! So intense, so blazing;
The warmth, engulfing me,
Freeing the contracted, the twisted knot of dread and terror.
The caged bird, free to fly and fly high. Oh! The exuberance of it;
To cover infinity, to spread wings, to reach the zenith;
To spread its wing and feel the freedom.
Courage, spreading through the veins;
Guiding me, through the bridleway;
Becoming the aide, the illuminator; Lighting up every dark corner of my being; Charging every atom of my existence.
Courage, now embracing my nerves; Giving me the power to rise;
To break my chains of past and pain;
To heal, to rise, to ascend, to shine;
Giving the prospect of unearthing
The fire The flood The life.
