My mother had failed to nurture me,
So I became my own.
But I suppose it's partly true, the saying like mother like daughter.
Because I stand here high right now,
With a charge of murder on my name.
I killed the child in me,
And did her right.
I was successful at what my mother wasn't.
At last! I'm not like here. I am above her.
I'm not a woman with a child I don't love or deserve.
