Dying stars in the drowsy bodies,
Fatal falls took away the smiles,
Accidents which let a lifetime sorrow
on the backs of black.
Carrying love in the bumpy arms wore,
wailing eyes glittering in a direction to the jungle - dense and dangerous
Cruel and ruthless,
Lying on the dirt Mamá glimpsed on toddler with a flickering light of hope.
Sixty miles of dense rainforest, swamps and steep mountains,
Life has become a burden,
letting it go is so sudden,
Her mind murmured the footsteps set before,
if it was easy to know if they succeeded or not.
If they live the life of dream?
“I eloped from my motherland with my love (life)”,
a dreadful deceive to my our breed.
I was not alone,
everyone was there with same feelings and same secrets,
A history’s biggest elopement - seeking love.
The Darien gap was all left in front to hurdle
In order to possess the paradise in Panama.
For familia, for God, I sacrifice me and I need to get up and go.
For I have a sunset to stare and a ocean to cross,
before I breathe the last air and to close my eyes bare.
