Failure is a part of life they said,
Learn from your mistakes they said,
Yet forget that failure can break you from the inside,
Some mistakes haunt you for your entire life.
Is it really that easy to move on?
Or is the way of life the only consolation to a crying heart?
Where are they who once said that one loss doesn't make you a loser,
Let them know that there is no greatness in admitting your mistakes unless you can do something about it.
But when there is nothing that can be done the voices make sure to keep reminding us that we are at fault.
When the voices turn louder and the words become unbearable it is hard to believe that failure is a part of life but rather feels like a reason to end it.
