It is beneficial for both the employer and the employee as it helps to bridge the gap between the expectations of employees and that of the organization. It also helps fulfill our intrinsic needs and personal goals to help us recognize and work towards our career objectives by evaluating our skills and qualifications and recognize other career paths that best suit our skill set and meet our aspirations.
