It is a truth that no one can define life. But we can make it meaningful by living it. Kindness is one such human feeling that can make our lives worthwhile in a good way. The famous writer Mark Twain describes kindness as a language in which the blind can see and the deaf can hear. So being kind is an urge to feel for others inside our hearts. It is also a feeling that recognizes no boundaries.
Today, if anybody needs it the most, it is the animals. They are in desperate peril due to continuous human intervention and cruelty. Due to this, diseases, natural disasters, and violence has made this world miserable. But if we extend compassion and empathy toward them, we can transform this world into a better place.
Animals are innocent. They do not know money, politics, and power. So you generally expect nothing from them for being compassionate towards them. It makes the feeling of kindness more potent inside you.
You feel more positive, happy, and peaceful. As a result, your body secrets a lot of oxytocin or love hormone. According to scientists, oxytocin helps reduce stress, blood pressure, and pain in your body.
If you suffer from anxiety or any psychological disorder, making love with animals can benefit you. Some animals, such as cats, horses, dogs, and cows, possess healing touches. When you touch them with love, they can induce some healing powers into you. So being kind to animals can heal you both physically and mentally.
Among all conscious beings, we are the most intelligent ones. So, killing and torturing animals to our taste is not good. Today modern science also confirms that consuming animal products can cause various diseases and lessen our lifespan. Also, animal slaughtering is one of the biggest reasons for climate change.
But once we become kind to animals, the butcher houses, dairy, fish, and egg farms will be closed. As a result, water, soil, and air pollution will be lesser. The world will understand the essence of life and living beings. So we will get the opportunity to explore various herbs and plants to fulfill our vitamin and mineral requirements.
As a result, we can become healthier and prevent pandemics like Covid-19, Swineflu, and Ebola. We will also prevent diseases like Cancer, Diabetes, and Blood pressure. Our skin, hair, and eye health will get better. Therefore, we will stay young and live longer.
You must have heard about sound waves and light waves. But there is also another kind of wave called pain wave. These pain waves are released whenever a living being feels pain. Famous scientist Albert Einstein first presented a theory on pain waves. According to this theory, primary and secondary seismic waves move swiftly. But the pain waves move slowly and grow over time. At the point when they arrive at a limit, the crust of the earth breaks. As a result, earthquakes happen.
In 2014, Nepalese people observed Gahimai. It is one of the most massive sacrificial rituals in the world. Despite opposition, they slaughtered over 500,000 animals, including buffalos, pigs, goats, and chickens. You must have heard about the Nepal earthquake in 2018 that brought devastation. According to researchers, that earthquake happened due to pain waves caused by the festival.
Just imagine that if sound waves can move a stone, then what can the waves emanating from the pain of living animals move? So being kind towards animals is the need of the hour. By doing this, we can reduce the pain waves which cause earthquakes. As a result, we can help our future generations live a safer life.
You must have heard from older people that everything in this universe is interconnected. Today modern physics is also telling us about how two particles interact with each other from miles away. In 1960, an Indian Yogi named Maharishi Mahesh proposed a hypothesis on collective consciousness.
In 1993 an experiment regarding this was conducted in Washington DC. According to the results, when some Yoga practitioners continuously practiced yoga, the crime rate in the city decreased by up to 23%. It means that there is an impact of good consciousness on our world.
So when we embrace animals with love, we create a positive field around us. This positive field becomes a shield to protect us from anger, lust, and greed. As a result, not only we but also the environment of our society gets transformed.
The concept of Karma or action comes from Hinduism. It states that the Karma (action) of someone determines his fate. If you do inferior deeds, you will get bad results. And good deeds will give you good results.
In the Hindu text Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna states that those who have compassion for others are dear to him. You can find the same thing in many religions like Buddhism and Jainism. It means that kindness has always been considered a spiritual virtue.
So, being kind to animals will take you closer to the spiritual world. There you can experience many things that are still a mystery for most people. As you become compassionate, your good Karma will increase. It will assist you with having a cheerful and serene existence.
Nowadays, the torture of animals is increasing day by day. Every day millions of animals are being slaughtered to satisfy the taste of our tongue. According to reports, we kill 80 billion animals every year. We also see lame dogs and cats on the street every day. Is it humanity?
We should understand that from kindness comes love. And from love, everything prospers. So we can not deny the fact that empathy towards animals has transformative power. We need to inspire people to come forward and help animals. It will make our world beautiful. So let us embrace a compassionate approach toward animals.
