INTRODUCTION

There are so many crimes such as child trafficking, murder, rape, violence, and robbery happening in our surroundings. The total number of crimes reported in India in 2023 was 445.9 per 100,000 people. The most common crime in India is theft, followed by kidnapping, and assault. This kind of criminal and bad element of activities shows the nature and behavior of our people in society. these kind of activities shows what kind of policies are implemented by our policymakers. These kinds of policies and laws are made by our uneducated, unethical, immoral leaders so that corruption and cruelty increase and the uneducated ministers dominate the masses.  Lack of control and inefficient laws are responsibly followed by nonsensical attitudes and behavior from our leaders creating so many problems in our society. In fact, in the last general election in India out of the 539 winners analysed in Lok Sabha 2019, 233 MPs declared criminal cases against themselves. This is an increase of 44 percent in the number of MPs with declared criminal cases since 2009. All these corrupt leaders are responsible for mob lynching, promoting religious hate, riots, violence, etc These illiterates are protecting and supporting the local goons to do all the criminal activities in society. In this topic, we will discuss why we need corrupt free, and educated leaders in politics so that our political system and political structure will be more efficient and effective. Educated leaders will give a better and more productive future to society.  Some of the points related to educated politicians are written below.

1) Making better policies and rules -

A corrupt free and educated politician can make better policies and rules for the people, and society will benefit from it. These policies are progressive. Policies such as maintenance of law and order, social justice, protection of social and economic rights, better police and law administration, etc.

2) Development in nature – 

The educated politician always focuses on the development of people and society. He always attempts to provide a better standard of life to the people. so he always focuses on education such as building schools, colleges, health facilities, hospitals, roads, communication, drinking water facilities, etc he always wants to make a progressive society.

3) Protection of constitutional rights - 

The constitution is the backbone and guide of India, it acts as a mentor to show the direction of where India should go. All the citizens of India obey the rules and follow them, this constitution protects all rights and gives justice to the public. Freedom of expression, speech, and equality are some of the highlighted features of the Constitution. A corrupt free leader will follow every article written in the constitution and sincerely does his duty with responsibility legally and constitutionally. He protects all the opinions of all the elements in society irrespective of religion, caste, ethnicity, language, etc.

4) Become an inspiration to the people -

Because of their noncriminal activities, no corruption charges, and discipline and work within constitutional guidelines, the politician will become an inspiration, Because of his nature more people want to join politics, and more people will follow him, he guides and mentors society in a better manner, he will become a motivator and a leader to the society because he works for the public and national interest.

5) Better communication with the public and society -

Unlike corrupted politicians, the educated leader has expertise and knowledge about what are the problems and challenges of society. He monitors all the legal and illegal activities happening in society. He evaluates the situation and finds a suitable solution for it. He has better coordination and communication with the public because he works on the grassroots level of the system. Because of a better understanding of the public, he can easily gain support and cooperation from the people. This will further strengthen and make a better working environment for the political system which eventually leads to the development of society.

So these are some of the important points and factors about a true political leader, why do we need such kind of personality? What kind of benefit he will give? How he can change society?
