A tale incomplete as old as time,
Two souls desperate to meet and unite.
The curse upon them set centuries ago,
To come together once and then apart they grow.
Rain comes thundering, waiting for his sunshine covering the sky grey,
All his despair comes raining down, once again as his resolve starts to fray.
Howling in his pain then he moves on rumbling,
Sunshine comes stumbling after tears with her heart crumbling.
Once again she heard his growl, hope furling within her heart,
She chased the sounds from across the land daring the power that kept them apart
His earthy smell still lingers now among the leaves and air around,
She tried to feel his touch and caress from the sensation that surrounds her.
A lone tear slips away, and soon it vanishes too,
One day she'll meet with him, colouring the world in their hue.
That's when she hears it, the distant crack in the air,
Anticipating his arrival to believe she dares.
One rumbling hand then gently cups her warm cheek,
We meet again he said, her happiness at its peak.
A spectrum of love now whirls around them,
Seven beautiful shades of their affection are now visible with a blurring hem.
The cruel curse then comes into play ,
Ripping them apart from each other and forcing their objections to slay.
Rain and shine are now separated again.
But soon they'll meet again it's just a matter of when.
