Loving someone shouldn’t be hard right?
Every time I get close to a person, my mind be like
Is she the one?

Then while talking , I got lost in her eyes
Trying not to fall, but I’m falling.
Saw her in tears, made me sad.

Me wanting her to be happy
Is it love? Or is it just empathy
I’m confused and lost.

She said and I quote
Love only if you can love forever
Even though forever doesn’t exist.

The way she used to pull my cheeks,
Play with my hair
Made me fall for her.

Then I realized she had been intoxicated,
Yet she insists on her sober narration.
Then Goes back home.

Hoping she won’t make it a habit
But I was wrong.
I Saw her in the same state ,
Making my heart ache.

I gazed at her eyes
she started pulling my cheeks
And I said I Love You.

She smiled and looked aside,
I gave a kiss
But she didn’t realise.

I held her hands
wish I could stop the time
But it never waits.

So what Is this feeling?
Have you ever felt this before
Or am I the only one?

Void in my heart is disappearing
No words left for expressing
Wandering here and there.

You know sometimes
Wishes do come true
She stopped drinking.

Everything has a price to pay,
price for my wish was
her forgetting about us.
