Here I stand on the battlefield
With armor and shield,
Where blood is shed, and victory’s cry echoes
Will I be able to return home?
Or will I lay to rest?
I charge forward, nonetheless!
I hear the sound of guns firing from a distance
A bullet whizzes past,
A friend laid to rest
With blood streaming on the ground
I held his hand for one last time
With tears in my eyes, a heartfelt goodbye.
Moving across the land, I hide among the trees
I pulled out my wallet, and a beautiful portrait appeared,
A portrait that can be felt through the heart
A portrait of my family standing tall and wishing me well,
Tears streamed down my face as I pressed on,
In search of a safe space.
As I move across the ground
I saw bodies that lay soaking in blood.
The land is covered with blood, and it’s unsafe
But I must protect the people,
Against the sword, against the bullet
I crawled through the mud, soaking in sweat.
This is the place of the final goodbye
A place of victory,
Where battles rage and victories are claimed
Where soldiers stand tall and fight for honor,
Where blood is shed, and bodies are laid
Where we fight for honor, and medals are earned.
As I kept on crawling through the mud
I found myself in the middle of the bloodbath,
Where bodies fall to the ground with a loud thudding sound
Where bullets fly through the air and hit the ground
I hear a loud command, a shout, and a cry!
Accompanied by the roaring sound of guns that sends chills inside my bones.
But here I am, taking my aim
Fired through the woods,
and heard a loud thump on the ground.
I’ve fired my shot, fulfilled my duty
Then I ran across the field to shield myself
Then I found myself in a warehouse,
where the door was broken,
My heartbeat grew loud.
I took a deep breath and prepared myself for the final battle
I hear footsteps approaching,
followed by a loud stomp on the ground
I see a shadow of my opponent pulling a trigger,
Then I held my breath, the bullet flew straight towards me,
and I fell to the ground.
With a portrait of my family held in my hand
I gasped and bid them farewell, laying down to rest.
