Education plays a very crucial role in a person's life and this statement is absolutely undeniable. Now if I ask whether education is just about getting the topmost rank in every class and getting promoted to the next higher class and one day obtaining all possible degrees and certificates on his or her domain of learning, I don't know what answer I would be reciprocated with but according to me gaining knowledge and complete education has a difference, though very minute but there is. Let's discuss a bit about the matter.

A child grows up getting guidance and learning values from his or her family members and especially parents but some children become naughty and some calm. However, every kid get admitted to schools for a proper academic career and spend the best part of life there. They learn manners, discipline, ethics and punctuality but the fact is they are marked only for their knowledge that they represent on exam paper they write during an hour or two. According to my point of view, their regular activities, behaviour and attitude towards other human beings in their surroundings must be evaluated to make them a good human being as well. They should even learn to respect their mother tongue and not just consider it as a second or third language. It's even heard if we put our ears outside school gates that the second language is not that important as it's not required in any interviews in the long run. Moreover, parents are heard saying not to mix with those students who haven't a rank in the exam and here lies my question, What's the use of sending a child to a school and impart education with all hard earned money if we as a guardian decide or make sure that our ward makes friendship with just a rank but not the personality, nature, behaviour and of course the values of the particular human being? Whose education would be at stake after this? What kind of Human being will the child be when he has a thousands of degrees and he passes by a road and ignores a person who needs help?

Can we call him or her to be an educated citizen, I don't think so. I was once saved from an accident by the boy of our school who was marked "Bad Boy" and I got no hurt due to him on that day but What's the need of a "good boy" who passed by ignoring the fellow mate who's supposed to be in trouble. My own cousin who was never a good student, rather he could not be within the range of any rank was found whenever he was called in anyone's trouble or tough times. We are so much educated that we look down at the tea seller at the corner of the road but never go a step ahead to encourage him or neither learn to do something independently and have no shame for this.

To us, the start-ups with no turnover are more respectful than a tea seller of the road corner with a lakhs turnover in six months. This same "us" run after degrees certificates and packages but not tradition, values and ethics and teach our next generation the same shortcuts. Throughout my life to date, I have seen that the "bad boys" are the most educated ones.
