Stop teaching girls how not to get raped.
Teach boys how not to become rapists.
Her skirt is not a trigger.
Her body is not an invitation.

Teach boys before they become men:
Consent is not silence.
Consent is not fear.
Consent is not pressure.
Consent is not intoxicating.
Consent is not “but we’re dating.”
Consent is not “they didn’t fight back.”
Consent is a clear YES—and anything less is STOP.

Teach men not to rape—
And teach their friends to speak.
When the joke becomes cruel—stop it.
When the brag becomes a confession—confront it.
When the victim is blamed—challenge it.
Because violence does not begin
with the hand alone—
sometimes it begins
with a room full of people who said nothing.

Stop asking, “Why didn’t they leave?”
Ask, “Why didn’t you stop?”
Stop asking what they were wearing.
Ask what made the perpetrator believe
their body was his to take.
Stop measuring the survivor’s behaviour.
Start measuring the offender’s choices.
So teach men—loudly, brutally, without compromise:
Her body is hers. Her voice is hers. Her choice is hers.
And if she says NO, you stop.
Not tomorrow. Not after persuasion. Immediately.
Because masculinity is not domination—
It is knowing you could hurt someone, and choosing never to.

Teach men to control their actions,
Not women’s clothes, their voices, or their lives;
Because a decent man needs no locked door
To stop himself from turning a woman’s fear into his prize.

Teach them until every woman
can walk through the world
without calculating the danger
of every man she meets.
And if we fail to teach them—
DON'T ASK HER
WHY SHE WASN'T SAFE.
Ask US
why we raised a world
where she had to be.
