Living on the basis of hopes and desires is not called wisdom in a universe that is established on the principles of discipline and wisdom. Islam, which is a religion according to human nature, requires us not to rely on Allah alone but to plan and prepare, understand, and be aware. It commands to take practical actions with contemplation. This religion teaches us that we face the storms of circumstances not empty-handed, but with weapons of reason, knowledge, wisdom, determination, and courage. Muslims are not those who bend their heads in the face of trials. Rather, it is he who makes himself strong, capable, and dignified in every aspect so that even the enemies of Islam may bow down to his determination and dignity. We have been ordered to establish a system of life based on knowledge, justice, sincerity, sacrifice, and insight. Yes, so that it may not only protect itself but also be beneficial to humanity. The essence of Islamic teachings is that the Ummah should defend its existence not merely on supplication but through proper use of worldly means, intellectual awareness and practical wisdom, and against the temptations of the time. To not only recognize but also compete with them manfully. This is the true Tawakkul that connects faith with action and becomes a source of success in this world and the Hereafter. Allah says in Holy Qur’an.

“Prepare against them what you ‘believers’ can of ‘military’ power and cavalry to deter Allah’s enemies and your enemies as well as other enemy’s unknown to you but known to Allah. Whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be paid to you in full and you will not be wronged.” (Surah Al-Anfal:60)

Generally, this verse, there is not only preparation for war but also the motivation to gain strength and capability in every area of life. Whether it is the maturity of faith, the elevation of morality and character, the promotion of spirituality, political insight, economic self-sufficiency, the development of trade and industry, or civilization. Strengthening culture—it's important to gain strength in every field.

Since archery was the most important art of war in the era of messenger ship (Risalath), it is narrated from Hazrat Aqba bin Amir (RA) that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) explained this verse:

“Beware! The power is in the archery, listen up! The strength is in the archery, listen! Of course, the power is in the archery.”

You insisted on mastering this art so that Muslims are not weakened against the enemy.

The Muhaddseen has written, explaining the guidance of the Prophet, that in today’s era, the example of archery can be given by nuclear missiles, because the common description of both is to target the target. Therefore, today’s Muslims should be skilled in science and technology. Achieve, especially self-sufficiency in nuclear power, so that no tyrant power can use it against weak nations and world peace can prevail.

It's sad how many scientists there are in the Muslim world who are effective in the manufacturing of nuclear missiles. I wish! If the heat of our faith and the maturity of our deeds were equal to nuclear power, the blood of innocent people of Palestine would not have been spilled on the earth today. Our intellectual, moral, spiritual, political, and economic backwardness is actually the root cause of our humiliation and disgrace. This is our weakness, forces us to bow down to the same world powers, make trade deals with them, and welcome them, who openly back the oppressors of Palestinians.

The prophet Muhammad (PBUH) crowned the woman with honor, chastity, and honesty. But alas! Today, our faith weakness has reached such a level that we are making women dance for the sake of non-Muslim guests. The same preachers and scholars, who do not avoid speaking in the name of the monastic system and the saints of Allah, are talking about these non-Islamic activities. Seated. Their silence is clear proof of how diminished our spiritual and practical force has become.

The United States, which has taken open actions against Islam and Muslims, today proudly claims that its mediation stopped the war between India and Pakistan. The same US also announces easing economic sanctions on Syria, but he does everything not for humanity but for the sake of his own interests. If he really cared about humanity, he would have ended the Israeli barbarism in Palestine first. The reality is that in the heart of America, Islam and Muslims are equally sympathetic.

The reason for the condemnation and humiliation of Muslims is that we have stopped following the clear instruction of the Qur’an, which has ordered us to prepare in every field of might and might. We have adopted the luxury and negligence of the world. As a result, we have become toys in the hands of world powers today.

In such circumstances, our governments are not worried about spiritual and military reinforcement, nor are they trying to achieve self-sufficiency in economic and educational fields. If we were strong in the academic and practical fields, we would not have had mass violence in our dear homeland, and our trade would not be targeted. Had it been created, the dignity of our sisters would have been preserved, and our madrassas, mosques, and monasteries would not have been dishonored. We would not have been organized to lag behind in the academic and economic spheres.

All these humiliations are the price of deviation from the order of this Quranic verse, in which Muslims have been ordered to prepare all kinds of things. This is why today the opponents of Islam openly conspire against us, try to destabilize Islamic governments, and destroy Muslims. Co is the target of oppression because we are lagging behind in faith, practice, ethics, spirituality, politics, economics, commerce, culture, and science—every field.

It was a long time ago when Muslims were the imams of science and arts. They gave the world the light of knowledge and research and invented inventions that are still benefiting the world. But today we are in the field of education and other countries. We are far behind other nations. We have limited religion to only prayer, fasting, zakat, and Hajj, although Islam has also considered the pursuit of scientific and modern sciences the highest worship.

Rather, some scholars say that if a Muslim works for the betterment of humanity in the modern scientific field, he is better than worshiping for sixty years.

A great flaw in today’s Muslim society is that we have made employment only to acquire knowledge and arts.

The real purpose of knowledge was that man should know himself, know his Lord, and live in the world. Kar may serve humanity, but today Muslim youth acquire knowledge only for a job. The passion to benefit the nation has weakened. That is why, despite having higher degrees among Muslims, there is no big deal in the field of inventions and innovations. Progress is not visible. It is not only a sign of academic weakness but also a sign of faith weakness. Muslims no longer dare to call truth as truth and remain silent in the face of falsehood.

Islamic madrassas have played a historical role in preaching and spreading Islam and in protecting the faith of Muslims; this fact cannot be denied. But it is sad to say that many madrassas today have become centers of personal interest. Their goal has become not only to serve religion but also to gain fame, donations, and personal gain. It is often said that education is provided free of charge in these madrassas, but if seen in reality, their system is a few sincere and dignified people of the nation. Running on donations, zakat, and charity. If the annual expense of a madrassa is one crore and there are only a hundred students studying there, an average of one lakh rupees annually is paid by a poor father. It doesn’t happen, but it is fulfilled by a few benefactors of the nation.

Nevertheless, the students who graduate from these madrassas do not get a fancy job or a better future, but most of them have to live on a modest salary by becoming Muezzins or imams in mosques. Their financial situation is at the forefront, and their salaries are lower than any average worker.

It will not be wrong to say that such madrassas have also increased the economic backwardness of Muslims where religion has been restricted. Today, if anyone raises a voice against these madrassas, then either his tongue is shut or it is called defamation of religion. The fact is that the majority of the Muslim Ummah is aware of these situations, but no one dares to take any step because our faith, dignity, and religious support have weakened.

Similarly, another serious problem is that there are many fake priests and self-made scholars in Muslim society today. Their appearance is such that the people are deceived. Colorful jaws, big turbans, long beards, and beautiful tongues. But in reality, they have no knowledge of Sharia, or do they have anything to do with the reality of the method. Their real purpose is only to collect offerings and deceive the simple Muslims.

Muslims remain silent, knowing their character, because they have so much. There is no religious courage left to speak against them openly. If we had the power of faith, these so-called saints and scholars would not have fooled the people like this.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that a powerful believer is better than a weak believer and more beloved to Allah, although the goodness is in both. This means that a Muslim should be physically, mentally, scientifically, and spiritually powerful in order to be able to achieve his own. Can protect the faith and guide others. If a believer only believes but is devoid of knowledge, wisdom, courage, strength, and action, he can only benefit his faith but cannot benefit others. Whereas a powerful believer also helps others. Succeed in saving you from hell and guiding you to heaven.

If we look around us today, we see that our society is faithlessly weak, practically backward, spiritually hollow, degraded from moral belief, and collectively dispersed. Of this weakness. Because evils are spreading rapidly and virtues are dying. Muslims are jealous of one another, exploiting each other's weaknesses, and straying from the truth.

We need to strengthen our faith, not make knowledge just a source of employment, but make it a means of service to people and the welfare of the Ummah. We need to reform madrassas that have become hubs of only donation and business in the name of religion. We have to beware of fake saints and so-called scholars, who are deceiving in the name of Islam. We have to have the courage to say the truth, no matter what the price it may cost.

May Allah grant us beneficial knowledge, strength in faith, and strength in action and make us believers who will be beneficial to this world and successful in the hereafter. O Allah, help us live our lives in the light of Uswath Al-Hasnah.

Conclusion

The current state of the Muslim world calls for a serious and urgent reflection on the foundational teachings of Islam and their relevance in today’s challenges. Islam is a religion of balance, encouraging both spiritual devotion and practical preparation. The Qur’anic guidance and Prophetic traditions clearly emphasize strength in all dimensions—faith, intellect, character, and social responsibility. However, the prevailing intellectual, moral, and economic decline among Muslims is a direct result of neglecting this holistic vision. It is imperative for Muslims to revive their commitment to knowledge, justice, self-reliance, and truthfulness while reforming institutions like madrassas and eliminating hypocrisy in religious leadership. True Tawakkul lies not in passivity, but in combining faith with decisive action. Only through sincere reform, unity, and the pursuit of excellence can the Ummah reclaim its dignity, contribute meaningfully to global progress, and fulfil its divine responsibility.
