Arjun is a very naughty boy. He forgets to wash his hands before food and breaks every new toy he possesses. Everyone scolds him for that but he doesn’t care. He only cares about his football games. He loves his football and bicycle a lot.

He takes excellent care of them, and even though he forgets to wash his hands, he cleans his bicycle almost twice a week.

One day, while playing with a new toy, he broke it. But the toy scrolled, and Arjun ran behind it.

The toy kept scrolling, and Arjun kept running. Suddenly, he was far away from his home, standing in an enormous playground with toymakers everywhere. They made toys of various shapes and sizes with loads of known and unknown machinery.

One very old toymaker came closer to Arjun, took up the broken toy, and angrily said, “What have you done to this poor thing? He is now in immense pain?”

Arjun looked amazed and said, “Are you even serious? These are toys. They don’t have feelings!”

The old toymaker looked furious, “Who said that?“ he shouted, “The toy is hurt, and he is suffering. Now, you will have to mend him!” Saying this, he took Arjun to a tiny room and forced him to sit down.

He provided him with all the equipment to mend the toy and said, “You will only leave this place after mending this toy!”

The old toymaker sat at a distance to watch Arjun mending it, and whenever he tried to fix it, he would say, “No, no, you are doing it wrong! Do it from the beginning!” Every time, Arjun starts mending it from the beginning. Arjun felt sleepy and hungry due to his immense hard work. He wanted to go home, but the toymakers wouldn’t leave him until he finished his work.

At last, tired and hungry, Arjun said, “I want to go home. I am hungry. I promise I will never break my toys. I will take care of them.” Now, a young toymaker said, “Oh, you are hungry? You should have told that before. Wait a minute,” saying this, he went away and came back with soiled food.

Seeing that food, Arjun said, “How can I eat this? These are old-soiled food! It will have germs and bacteria in it!”

“Why do you care about that? You always eat the food without washing your hands. Your dirty hands have germs and bacteria. When you can eat with your dirty hands, you can also eat this soiled food!”

Arjun broke into tears now. Suddenly, he heard a noise. He looked up and saw a bicycle.

He heard the bicycle speaking to him. It is saying, “C’mon, Arjun, ride me. You always took care of me. You washed me twice a week and were always there for me when I was suffering. So, now I am here to help you. Come, Arjun, run, quickly ride me.” Without a second thought, he hopped on his bicycle. Now, he started riding it fast. The toymakers called him loudly, shouting, “Stop! Stop the bicycle. He is a naughty boy; he didn’t complete his work!”

But Arjun didn’t listen and kept paddling. Suddenly, he toppled and lost all his senses. When he woke up, he saw that he was in his home. His mother was tending to him. She said, “You fell while playing with your toys. You were hurt and unconscious.”

Was he dreaming? Arjun thought but couldn’t accept the fact because everything seemed unbelievably real! He could never forget those toymakers he met that day. After that day, Arjun completely changed. Now, he washes his hand before every meal and takes good care of his toys and, of course, his bicycle. People say a little accident inside the home has changed him. He has now become a well-behaved boy. What do you think? Why did he change?
