All over the world, approximately 70% of women are suffering from mental health as a ratio of 1 in 5 women as compared to 1 in 4 men. In India one in every 10 is suffering from mental health but who cares? Why? Because no one takes women seriously in India. No one tries to listen to her.

Various factors affect the mental health of women from childhood, puberty, and old age. The most common age groups are puberty and adults who suffer the most.

What is mental health? Why is it important?

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.

What are types of mental health? How it affects?

  • Mood disorder (depression or bipolar disorder)
  • Anxiety disorder
  • Personality disorder
  • Psychotic disorder (schizophrenia)

As we see, in the 21st century, women are ruling the world; from auto-driver to entering into space, people are admiring it.

Every woman who achieved something or nothing has suffered from mental health.

Some factors which affect the mental health of women are illiteracy, lack of knowledge, lack of confidence, lack of support, dominant society, male dominance, and her very own body hormone i.e.oestrogen, progesterone.

Because of illiteracy, women aren't expressing their opinions, thoughts, feelings, or emotions, if they do society harasses them by saying they are too nervous to speak.

Suppression of emotions and thoughts is one of the causes which leads to depression. Lack of confidence and male dominance are another one. If women express opinions or want to make any decision, the male tries to suppress them and doesn't support them. women are too emotional, they think by heart not by mind, and society or people take advantage of them by emotionally blackmailing them in the name of respect for their family or society.

If any woman dared and fought against them and do better than them they try to suppress her by physical harassment, assault, and rape which affect her physical as well as her mental health, then they take steps like suicide, instead of fighting they choose to die why? They try to fight until the end, they are too strong, Women are real warriors. But they choose to die. Why? Because no one supports them. But it's not suicide it's murder.

In 2022, the age of marriage for girls will be changed from 18 to 21. Why? Because they want to prepare the girl for her next life both physically and mentally. But who is following the rule?

In some rural areas, still, parents are marrying their daughters at the age of 13 to 15 against their will. If she resisted they started to harass her both mentally and physically which affected her mental health.

In the 21st century, Gynaecological problems are on the rise, In every 10 women 2 to 3 are suffering from Gynecological disease. According to the homoeopathic mode of treatment, the cause behind any disease is the mental plane, if anyone is disturbed mentally; pathological conditions arise.

Mental health such as depression or anxiety disorder is one of the causes of many Gynecological problems or vice versa, as dropping in levels of estrogen and progesterone cause a depressed mental state and pathological conditions.

Women's mental health is more important for themselves, their families as well, and for society to be healthy. If she is mentally healthy; she will be physically too and her surroundings and society will be happy and healthy too.

What should we do to make her mentally and physically healthy? We have to make awareness about women's mental health, we have to support her, admire her, give her confidence to express her opinion, teach her how to be independent in some situations, praise her, and push her for good. so, she will be happy.

We need to change her surroundings, once in 6 months take her on our own, and make her do things that she likes and her hobbies.

When Deepika Padukone was in depression Ranveer Singh was the one who pulled her out of her state. So, we have to be Ranveer for every woman for her good mental health.

If we raise awareness about women's mental health, we can make many more Kalpana Chawla, Sania Mirza, and Deepika Padukone, who can achieve their dreams happily and make their family and their country proud.
