Let's start with the simple understanding of the word - Sacrifice, which means giving up something important or valuable for somebody's sake or in order to get something that seems more important.

''The purest form of love is sacrifice'' - quoted anonymously with a deep-seated idea of spreading love and selflessness around. Sacrifice not only displays the idea of love towards an individual but in a variant manner for anything and everything. As humans, we must consider humanity as the only religion to follow and the one who is selfless and ready to sacrifice himself for the sake of humanity and peace is actually lovable and respected in the community.

The basic propaganda of studying this as a two-way theory is to differentiate between the positivity and negativity of the concept. We always look at one side of the coin i.e. only the positive aspect of the word but the coin is always two-faced and in the same way, there is more to it besides the positivity that we see.

As the beginning should always be with a positive note. So let's take a look at the positive feeling of the colloquy. The feeling of sacrifice that comes from one's love for his country or state and the most prominent example of this abstract feeling is our Soldiers. Their sacrifice for their country is extraordinary which makes everybody fall short of words. To proceed let's embellish this thought with the sacrifices that the families of these soldiers make. Leaving a beloved family member to die on the war fronts for safeguarding the nation and to exult in it, takes the meaning of sacrifice a headaway. Now take into account some examples from the common life that we live. Sacrifice is not something that has to be a colossal thought only. Of course, in our day-to-day life, we have our own heroes and we call them parents. The sacrifices that our parents make for us are remarkable. They kill their wishes to provide us with the latest facilities and most importantly, they never complain. The story of this aspect does not yet end with our parents, we are also a part of it. The student's life that we live is also full of sacrifices, we might not consider them major ones but giving up pleasures for studies and concentration also counts in the thought to a great extent. To end this prolonged aspect of positivity I would say that sacrifice with the feeling of love and humbleness always upgrades your personality and emotions and the same thing done for the sake of selfishness always sounds obnoxious.

In accordance with the negative aspect of the story, the meaning of the word remains the same, only the thing which creates a difference is the thought process behind it which gives it an unworthy shape. For example, the terrorists contrary to our soldiers also have the feeling of sacrificing their lives. But their sacrifice is for a selfish motive and that is where we see a contrast in positivity and negativity of thoughts. The same feeling but with a different thought process makes it hazardous for mankind. Next on this list are the people who have sacrificed their conscience and goodwill just to seek pleasure like the rapists, the molesters, the filthy politicians, the human traffickers, the corrupt businessmen, etc. We have an unending line of these people who are a black spot to humanity. I believe that the exact reason behind all these wrong deeds of a person could be the sacrifice of good thoughts and the righteous path that he makes to pursue his selfish motives. This thought process degrades a personality and mars the standards of humanity.

Now putting an end to the ocean of thoughts I would say looking for positivity in everything is very beautiful and praiseworthy but to make ourselves aware of the negativity as well helps us to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong and so that we can choose the best for ourselves. This very thought gave me an idea of the two-way theory. So Let's give it a thought.
