In the heart of a dense jungle, far from the nearest town, five friends embarked on what was supposed to be an adventurous picnic. Rax, the de facto leader of the group, had planned the route meticulously. Priya, with her love for nature, was thrilled at the prospect of a day surrounded by greenery. Prince, the joker of the pack, had his camera ready for candid shots. Charmi, the bookworm, carried a backpack filled with snacks and water, while Jeet, the quiet one, had a map and compass in hand.

As they drove through the winding forest roads, laughter and music filled the air. But their joy was short-lived. Without warning, the car sputtered to a halt, its engine dead. Stranded in the vast jungle, miles away from civilization, panic began to set in.

With the sun setting and the shadows growing longer, they decided to seek shelter. Through the thick foliage, they spotted an old house, its structure grand yet dilapidated. With no other option, they approached the house, hoping to find food and a place to rest until they could fix the car.

The house, an abandoned estate, stood like a relic of a bygone era. Its doors creaked open to reveal a dusty interior, filled with antique furniture covered in white sheets. As they explored, they found the kitchen stocked with canned food, enough to last them through the night.

But as darkness enveloped the jungle, the house revealed its true nature. Strange noises echoed through the halls, and cold drafts swept through the rooms despite the boarded-up windows. Rax tried to reassure his friends, but the fear in his eyes was evident.

Priya, while looking for a bathroom, stumbled upon a hidden room. Inside, she found old photographs of a family, their eyes scratched out, and a diary detailing the tragic history of the estate. It spoke of a curse that befell the family, trapping their spirits within the walls.

Prince's camera started capturing inexplicable orbs and figures, while Charmi's books flew off the shelves by themselves. Jeet, who had been quiet all along, revealed that he felt a presence guiding him to the house, a revelation that sent shivers down everyone's spine.

As the night progressed, the hauntings intensified. The friends clung to each other, witnessing apparitions and hearing whispers of the past. They realised they were not alone; the spirits of the cursed family were restless, seeking closure.

Determined to survive the night, the friends used the diary's clues to uncover the truth behind the curse. They learned of a hidden artefact, a locket, which held the key to freeing the spirits. Working together, they located the locket, and in doing so, they unleashed a maelstrom of supernatural activity.

The house shook as if in the throes of an earthquake, and the spirits, once bound by sorrow, appeared before them. Rax, holding the locket, felt a surge of energy as he declared their intent to end the curse.

With dawn approaching, the friends performed a ritual described in the diary. As the first light of day broke through the darkness, the spirits found peace, their forms fading into the morning mist.

Exhausted but alive, Rax, Priya, Prince, Charmi, and Jeet watched the sun rise over the jungle. The house, now silent, seemed just an ordinary ruin. They left the estate behind, their bond strengthened by the ordeal, and with a story that would haunt them for the rest of their lives.
