Life as we call it is a journey of many unravelled paths, to make it complete one has to find his own path. Life is a souvenir so precious to keep too valuable to be lost. For some life is breath, for others life is their career, their home social life etc. At times I think life isn’t so strange that it has its own way of teaching us wisdom and knowledge. I couldn’t help smiling at the verse which I read in a book “What you seek is seeking you.”

Having too many questions about life I decided to go on a trek to Dandeli Karnataka I went on a road trip a pleasant journey when I reached Dandeli a picturesque sight. The first thing which caught my eye was the river flowing in between the hills.

I was booked at the wood resort I stayed in for the night at the tree house while enjoying the Nocturnals sounds of nature whispering among trees

At dawn I went for river rafting nine kilometres around the hills with a tourist guide as I was rowing against the currents, my oars hit something brittle and hard, and to my surprise, It was moving, I asked the tourist guide about it looking aghast. He casually said that there were crocodiles, but they were tame and wouldn’t bite.

After a while we came across the crocodile so huge, it came close to the raft the guide happily threw some bread crumbs which the river reptile ate “See I told you It wouldn't bite,“ the guide said gleefully. And that too it is vegetarian he mocked which had left me to grind my teeth and utter words in an uncivilized manner.

Towards the evening, I decided to call it a day and went to rest at the woods resorts. On one such night, I began to realize life is an adventure we have to fight the odds at times. We have to go along with the flow of life just as the river which flows against the dangerous currents, and to live in the moment.

Thus, having enjoyed my stay in Dandeli with lots of mountain climbing, bird watching, kayaking and wildlife.

I went home completely relaxed with calmness and clarity of mind.
