There is strangeness in the very aspect of our existence as human beings. It’s a tragic existence, bound by so-called ‘conscience’, something only us humans have. Yet we do not recognize the ephemeral condition of our existence. We know we are advancing towards the end, an eternal sleep, yet we struggle to continue living. We set morals and rules and sit in judgment over the ones who do not recognize our perceptions of conduct.

Our evolution is a major misstep in the fabric of the world. We became too self-aware, losing our identity in the pursuit of social validation. Most are afraid of being judged as different and ostracized, so we hide our true selves under a façade of identity, which in fact is nothing more than pack mentality, and acceptance.

We find it difficult to cope with the harshness of reality, and seek refuge in the comfort of the familiar, often times creating our own fantasy, hoping for some kind of catharsis.

But even that is fraught with setbacks, instead of understanding and complimenting the fabric of reality, we weave our fate by unknown looms, hoping for a higher power to show us the way.

People have an inherent need to put their trust on something they perceive as greater than them. It is their way of coping with the vast unknown factors of the future and the decadent past.

It is often said that, those who do not study history, are doomed to repeat it, truer words were never spoken. History exists to teach us our fallacy and mistakes. It is a teacher of the highest standard, and as such offers the means to meanings for those who pay careful attention.

People believe in destiny, just as they believe in Gods. It helps them to get some semblance of hope. An order to the chaos. But it is nothing more than an illusion. It is seldom in our control, and those who do control it, are beyond the reach of the normal populace.

It is true that many who live, deserve to die. And there are also those who are dead, but deserve to live. Can we give life to them? No, we can’t, and so we should not be hasty in dealing out retribution and death. No one should have the authority to judge others, and hand out punishments or rewards. We are created equal, and must not forget that aspect of our being. The differences in race, language, or religion, are nothing if our hearts are united. Everything else is superficial.
