What if I met my alter ego
I, literally am, too scared to do so
I'll know exactly who I am
Exactly the grounds I stand
Won't the confidence in her eyes
Make me feel mine's completely disguised?
For, all her strengths will be my flaws
And the residual self-worth will be at a loss
When I gaze at her fearless case
Won't all my fears give me an embrace?
But can't we both have anything in common, I'll wonder
I'll try to convince my unembellished thunder
Then I'll seek to find out all her flaws
For that will make up for the undermined clause
So what if mine just went for a toss?
So isn't the world actually our doppelganger
Coz we constantly search for their flaws while we hide our's in our anger
What if we stop this search for the grapes that are sour
Instead, look for our real selves our real superpower.
We'll finally land in a place we aren't happy for their blemish
Finally, by confronting and defeating our defects, we all shall cherish
Not only this, we'll learn from each other
Instead of envying, we shall push one further
