My country, which is made up of numerous states and union territories, has a rich history that is said to date back to 3300–1300 BCE.

Indeed, my land gave rise to The Indus Valley Civilization, the Vedic era, and the Rigveda the world's oldest written scripture.

The creation of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikkhism took place in this sacred land.

The conflict between the four major Mahajanapadas — Magadh, Kosala, Vatsa, and Avanti in the sixth and fourth centuries BC.

The Mauryan Empire era, which at its height contributed almost 30% of global GDP. The Chalukya's, Cholas, and Guptas.

My homeland was a golden sparrow, and the invasions, the dreadful omen, were approaching sooner or later!

Initially, the Arab and Turkish conquests.

The invasion that forcibly converted the innocent people to Islam while thieving from the Treasury.

The courage of Sikhs, Rajputs and Marathas to stop these foreign powers.

Then came the arrival of the Portuguese, Dutch, English, Danish, and French in India.

The British East India Company monopoly. The British colonized my county as a company and then, after a fight for independence, left but at what cost?

They looted from India almost 45 trillion Us dollars.

And so began the struggle of a country, a confederation of states called India which is Bharat.

The economic plans began to stabilize after the British crises in 1950. One of the systems introduced was five-year plans.

Numerous forums for education were established, along with institutions such as the IIT, AIIMS, IIM, and the Backward Class Reservation.

We are the world's largest democracy, home to a diverse population of ethnicities, faiths, and social classes. Those who were formerly marginalized or denied equal rights are today fierce competitors with those from higher social classes.

With the world viewing us as a potential future superpower, we have the fifth largest economy, the fourth strongest military, and Isro (Indian Space Research Organization) one of the best space agencies in recent times, thanks to our hard work and bravery. My nation has regained its honor and dignity.

We have recently eradicated extreme poverty and will overtake Germany and Japan to become the third-largest economy in the next ten years.

We presently have the second-largest road network and the fourth-largest railway network in the world, and we are on track to exceed China and take the lead as the global manufacturing hub.

When India hosted the G20 summit recently and we were selected to have the G20 presidency in 2023, our Prime Minister proposed the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

The tenet that underpins our worldwide behavior is "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," which translates to "the world is one family." Every Indian is linked to the sense of duty of 'One Earth' by the fundamental concept of viewing the globe as one family.

The world now views us as a country of hope and kindness since we assisted Turkey in recovering from earthquakes and evacuated citizens of India as well as foreign nationals and even "Pakistanis" from the conflict zone in Ukraine. By providing vaccines in COVID, we helped the globe. We are the rising sun or a gigantic star that is awakening now.

But there are many gaps that need to be filled. Because of our enormous population, our per capita GDP is unstable, so we need to work on it. We also need to end unemployment and come together as a country to put the past behind us. Before long, we will be the renowned superpower.

For me, my mother country, "Maa Bharti," is regaining its previous reputation as a global force, and you, me, and the rest of the Bharatvasis will never give up trying to elevate our country.

Jay Hind!
