Mother and motherland - two words that hold a special place in our hearts, two entities that are intertwined and inseparable. A mother is not just a person who gives life, but she is also the one who nurtures, protects and guides her children throughout their lives. Similarly, a motherland is not just a piece of land, but it is also the place where we belong, where our roots are deeply embedded, and where our culture and heritage reside. Both these entities hold a special significance in our lives, and we cannot imagine our existence without them.

In the words of the great poet Kahlil Gibran, "The strength of a nation derives from the integrity of the home." This quote perfectly captures the essence of a mother and a motherland. Just like a home provides a foundation for a family, a mother provides a foundation for her children. She is the first teacher, the first caregiver, and the first role model for her children. She instills values, teaches important life lessons, and shapes the character of her children. A mother's love knows no boundaries, and she will go to any extent to protect and provide for her children. She sacrifices her own needs and desires for the sake of her children's happiness and well-being. As the saying goes, "A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.

Every person has his dear corner in the world. My homeland, where I was born and grew up, where my grandfather and my father were born, for me, is an invaluable gift of the nature. Motherland is my home, my cradle. Motherland is the place, where for many years sounds our dear language and mother’s song. Motherland holds everything –both life and faith can exist when there is Motherland.

Our motherland is called Myanmar. She is beautiful and powerful. She has many villages and cities, rivers and lakes, woods and mountains. The old capital of our country is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Yangon. I really worship my Motherland. Magnificent mountains, clean river, home cities and villages – all of them have their place in my soul. I always cherish places of my childhood, for they keep a memory of my immediacy, purity and innocence.

Similarly, a motherland is the foundation of a nation. It is the place where we are born, raised, and educated. It is where we learn about our culture, traditions, and customs. A motherland holds a special place in our hearts, and it is a source of pride and identity for its citizens. Just like a mother, a motherland gives us a sense of belonging, security, and protection. It is where we find solace and comfort, and it is a place that we can always call home. As the famous quote by Voltaire goes,

"A motherland is not a place, it is a feeling."

A mother and a motherland are also similar in terms of their unconditional love. A mother's love for her children knows no boundaries, and she loves them unconditionally, flaws and all. Similarly, a motherland is a place that accepts its citizens with all their differences and imperfections. It is a place where people from different backgrounds, religions, and cultures come together as one, united by the love for their motherland. As the saying goes, "In the eyes of a mother, her children are never imperfect."

Another important aspect of a mother and a motherland is their role in shaping the future generations. A mother's love, guidance, and support lay the foundation for her children's future. She teaches them the importance of hard work, perseverance, and compassion, and these values are passed down from generation to generation. Similarly, a motherland provides its citizens with opportunities and resources to grow and prosper. It is the responsibility of every citizen to contribute towards the development and progress of their motherland. As the saying goes, "The future of a nation lies in the hands of its citizens."

Whenever I sing the Anthem and hold the flag and Emblem in my hands, I feel proud of them. Nobody says,"bury me wherever you want".Every man wants to lie close to his relatives and friends. Every man wants to lie in the birthplace. The feeling of home is the last feeling that a Myanmese has in his life. That is why: our land, each square foot of land that was watered with the blood of our ancestors is sacred to us, it is my biggest pride! And we are guided by exactly these sanctities in all our deeds. They inspire me and give me force and energy. The greatness of Motherland is in my heart.

A mother's love and a motherland's pride can be seen in the sacrifices and contributions made by women in the armed forces. These brave women leave behind their families and loved ones to protect their motherland and its citizens. They are a true embodiment of the saying, "A mother's love knows no boundaries." Similarly, a motherland's pride is reflected in the sacrifices made by its citizens to protect its sovereignty and integrity. As the saying goes,

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

In conclusion, a mother and a motherland are two entities that are deeply intertwined and inseparable. They both hold a special place in our hearts, and they shape our lives in ways that cannot be put into words. A mother's love and a motherland's pride are the pillars on which we build our lives and our nation. As the saying goes, "A mother and her children are like a tree: they grow in different directions, yet their roots remain as one." Let us cherish and appreciate the love and sacrifices of our mothers and the pride and identity of our motherland. I’ll live my life the right way, try to learn the truths that will give me confidence in life and good manners in actions for the sake of my Motherland, state, nation and myself and my descendants. I will feel quiet and satisfied and my life will make sense.

There is a simple slogan for my mother and my motherland is:

"Oh my dear Motherland,
My life is for you, the divine land,
Oh my beloved Motherland,
My love for you will never end!"
