Beneath the azure sky, it sprawls,
A vast, indifferent expanse,
Its waves that dance with reckless grace,
Hide depths of dire romance.

It whispers of adventure's call,
Yet masks its treacherous bite,
For in its dark, abyssal heart,
Lie secrets lost to night.

Ships that once with pride set sail,
Now rest in sunken graves,
Their tales of hope and brave pursuits,
Ensnared by watery waves.

The sea, with beauty fierce and wild,
Bears not a friend’s embrace,
Its tides that surge with fickle whims,
Are cold, devoid of grace.

It lures with siren’s haunting song,
But heed its silent dread,
For countless dreams and daring souls,
Lie still, forever dead.

So gaze upon its surface fair,
But know its hidden costs,
The sea’s allure, a cruel disguise,
Where countless hopes are lost.
