Under the sacred Bilva tree, I stand,
My prayers are rising to you, O Mahadeva, grand.
With every chant of your holy name,
My heart ignites an eternal flame.
I kneel before your infinite grace,
A devotee lost in your boundless space.
You strip my ego, my fears, my pride,
Leaving only the truth I cannot hide.
When life betrays when dreams decay,
You stand firm, guiding my way.
With every tear that stains my face,
You teach me patience, you teach me grace.
You destroy the illusions I hold so tight,
Even when it burns, you bring the light.
O Neelkanth, your wisdom divine,
Knows what to take, knows what’s mine.
When I crumble beneath life’s heavy chains,
You lift me, absorb my pains.
You shatter what’s false, let the real remain,
For in your love, no effort is in vain.
In your Tandava, the cosmos sings,
Destruction births the purest things.
You carry my heart through the fiercest fire,
Purging what’s lesser, leaving only desire—
To be yours, wholly, utterly free,
Bound only by this love for eternity.
Your crescent moon whispers calmly above,
Yet your stormy gaze speaks of tough love.
You protect, you guide, yet let me stray,
Only to call me back your way.
O Mahadev, who drinks the poison of woe,
You’ve shown me strength only love can bestow.
Every scar you leave becomes a mark,
Of a bond unbroken, fierce, and stark.
You wield your Trishul with fearless grace,
Defending my soul in life’s wild race.
You protect, you nurture, you set me free,
In every storm, you stand by me.
You are my destroyer, yet my protector too,
Breaking me down, building me anew.
What you take, you replace with the best,
For in your wisdom, my soul finds rest.
O Lord of Kailasa, my heart’s only shrine,
Forever, in your love, I entwine.
Guide me, hold me, burn me if you must,
For in you alone, I place my trust.
This love is eternal, fierce, and true,
Mahadev, I am nothing without you.
