I wonder what it is to embrace life to its brimming entirety
One that brings love and serenity.
What does true joy entail?
Does it linger on us like a sweet lover's kiss when the world leaves us frail?

I was betrothed to the enamor of the callous whispers of the magnanimous glance,
The sight of love left me questioning every belief I held in my stance
Love is a fleeting dream, one that lies in the most cacophonous whispers of beauty true
That sings the forever's song and preys on the trust hidden under one's sinew.

Life often sings its melody in gallant echoes
The duality of joy and the brewing jeopardy it holds, what comes next no one knows
Across the trivial sands of Dee,
One wishes to hide in a land where their agony no one can see
Off the shores and on the cliffs of doom
In the shadows of incessant gloom, the seed of change finds its way to bloom.

The heart wants to be embraced like it were never betrayed
The soul wants to be claimed like it was never left astrayed
Maybe that is what our existence beckons to be
A tale of loving, a tale of letting go and even through the trances of pain
Holding on to the sight of the light of hope, one that yet no one can see.
