I often talk about the resilience and strength that lies within us to be the best version of ourselves everyday. The growth that envisions the dreams we embody, and the manifestations we yearn for to come true. All of them are reflections of how the world within us forges itself, whether we are at peace with ourselves or our existence belies in the chaos of being alive.
Life is the beauty of the light, but it is also the darkness of the ugliness of our hours of plight. It is not only the Pinterest boards that dwell in the aesthetics of magnanimity but also the candid and real pictures of our ugly cries and teary-eyed smiles. The world we live in thrives with putting your best concealed and proud selves on display. Nobody wants others to know the bane of their existence and the moments of doom and despair.
Sadness in its entirety consumes the will to thrive and bewilder with joy. Social media has influenced us to be on the quest for a picture-perfect ideal life that is applaudable by the masses but we often forget that it is not what we are defined by.
It is okay if all you did today is survive and try your best to go by your day. Your worth is not defined by your achievements or the money you earn and certainly not by the external realm. You do not have to move mountains of productivity every day. Some days are just for you to sit in stillness and allow your mind and body to heal itself in the embrace of silence.
To be or not to be, leave it to the eternal flow.
In the embrace of serenity, let your innate wisdom glow.
