A sleep that heals
A sleep that embraces the wavering zeal
A slumber that enclothes with the serenity that my mind desperately seeks
Oh Lord, let me find the peace I so desperately search for under the waters of sleep!
Storms that pass through the centricity of your soul,
Leaving us with untold stories that hold no goal
A rite of passage, a stellar that light dwells in its allure of the night,
One often finds oneself numb to look towards the light.
Oh, to the atrocities of humankind
One finds it appealing to tear apart any exemplar in another that they find
Surpassing the masks of enamor that one belies to embrace
The glances of animosity in their demeanor surface.
Often, the one in deep troubled waters feeds the hatred that within them brews
Lest it beckons to be easier to trouble than to be troubled by the chaos hidden under their sinew.
If the forces of envy ever find you, let it find you alive,
Let yourself be so in love with yourself that their atrocious forces can no longer thrive.
I hope you feed yourself a kinder narrative when the world tries to bleed you dry
May you never lose your light when darkness's depths make you cry
I hope you know that every darkest hour finds its radiant moon
I hope you choose to embrace yourself steadily in a world that moves too soon.
