Unaware it was a scammer's trap,
A video call arrived with a fake police face,
A parcel with drugs, a fabricated case.

He demanded a hefty sum, a ransom to pay,
Fearful and anxious, I sent the money away.

A few days later, the truth hit like a trap,
Caught in a net, I couldn’t escape that gap,
I lost my hard-earned money to a fraud,
And learned the cost of being unaware, and so flawed.

Let this be a lesson, a warning to all,
To be vigilant and cautious, standing tall,
Block the number, report to the police and cyber cell,
Your safety and security, your priority to tell,
Awareness of scams is your responsibility too,
Stay informed, stay alert, and stay true.
