There was a time, not long ago,
When minds would wander, learn, and grow.
A pencil, food, or a daily need,
Took effort, patience, thought, and deed.

But now, with just a single touch,
The world arrives at us as such.
A click, a swipe, a glowing screen,
Changed the way our lives have been.

Fine - times evolve, the world moves fast,
Convenience is built to last.
Yet somewhere in this restless race we bring,
A dangerous trend - outsourcing thinking.

To build, create, to choose what’s right,
To spark new worlds with inner light.
God gave us minds to think deeply,
Yet we chose another path completely.

But slowly we have grown inclined
To let machines replace the minds.
For every doubt, for every why,
We seek a screen to reply.

No doubt it saves our precious time,
Makes every task feel less of a climb.
But what’s the cost we fail to see,
Behind this easy luxury?

For when all answers come pre-made,
Imagination starts to fade.
Our thoughts grow silent, still, and numb,
While curious minds grow quietly dumb.

The brain then slowly steps aside,
Becomes a passenger on the ride.
Comfortable, passive, calm, and still,
Like barren fields that slowly chill.

And one day, lost within the noise,
We may forget our inner voice.
Becoming blank slates, undefined,
With borrowed thoughts replacing our minds.
