My cracks are bare open to peekaboo,
But none identify or gaze at them
I'm filthy, discarded ruin of scars
No one dares to unravel what I was.
Scars mar my body like my snakes,
I'm lost deep in the abyss of obsidian
A whisper of past what I was;
Pure callous and grungy mess I am,
Aftermath of Dirty War.
With the icy grips of disgust
Forever marks my body, brands my soul.
My guttural howls of pain,
Bloodcurdling screams were of no use,
I was taken down before my gods,
With no mercy, like animals they are.
My goddess unspooled my veins like thread,
Knotted them into a noose,
And left me hanging in the silence
With all the mapping chars.
I roam in the shattered aftermaths,
The deranged ruins of my soul
Wild yet vulnerable in the deep dark.
Who will love me?
Why will anyone adore me?
How can someone see me?
What will be the reason behind it?
Every desire, every care and love,
I'm unworthy of every shooting star,
I was once loved but now I don’t deserve it;
Once besotted, now an ugly animal behind bars
I am nothing more than dirt,
An unwanted bizarre.
