In my teenage days so bright,
I liked him but hid my light.
Words stayed silent, heart beat fast,
A secret feeling meant to last.

Years had passed, and fate was kind,
A movie night, a seat aligned.
Side by side, so close, so near,
A touch that held a world sincere.

At the climax, bold yet shy,
I held his arm, but he pulled by.
A sting of pain, a moment brief,
Yet love’s whispers spoke beneath.

That night, a message, a simple call,
A plan was made, I gave my all.
“Meet me there,” I hoped inside,
At the station, side by side.

But then he called, “I can’t today,”
A sigh escaped, I hid dismay.
Yet fate had plans, a twist, a play,
For there he sat—he found a way.

A journey started, hearts entwined,
Love unspoken, yet so defined.
Through twists of fate and moments true,
The path of love was built anew.
