In silence, I dwell, alone and afraid
The world outside, a chaos I've made
Its noise and its strife, a burden to bear
I long for peace, but it's hard to share.

My heart beats with fear, my soul feels confined
The turmoil within, a reflection of my mind
I search for a refuge, a place to hide
From the world's madness, where I can reside.

But in this solitude, I find a spark
A glimmer of hope, a light in the dark
A chance to confront, the fears that I hold
And perhaps, find solace, in a cold world.
