In today’s time the lifestyle of young people has changed a lot and if we look around we can see that many of them are doing very little or almost nothing active in their daily lives because most of their time is spent either sitting on a desk with books laptops and mobiles or lying in bed scrolling endlessly on their phones and this routine is becoming very harmful for them without them even realizing it because the body needs movement and activity to stay healthy and when it does not get it slowly the health starts to break down in different ways and the sad part is that this lazy and inactive lifestyle has become so common that people now think it is normal while in reality it is damaging their wellness day by day and making them weak both physically and mentally and one of the biggest issues is that sitting for long hours and spending so much time on mobile has started to affect the eyes the posture and the overall energy level of the youth and instead of feeling fresh and active they often feel tired and restless even without doing much work and along with this many of them also face aggression irritation and anxiety because of the over use of mobile and the lack of balance in their daily habits and social media creates pressure and comparisons which makes them feel unsatisfied with their own lives and slowly it leads to stress sadness and frustration while at the same time their bodies are also becoming weak because of no proper exercise and movement and if we compare this to the earlier times we can see a huge difference because people before were much more active they walked more they played more and they had outdoor routines where physical activity was a natural part of their lives and because of that they were not only stronger physically but also calmer and more stable mentally since their energy was released in the right ways but today since most young people remain in one place either glued to their screens or locked in rooms they keep all that energy and emotion bottled inside which later comes out as aggression or anxiety and this also affects their sleep cycles because too much screen time especially at night keeps their mind active when it should be resting and the body does not get enough proper sleep and rest and in the long run this weakens their immunity and affects their overall health and wellness and this problem is not small because the youth are the future of the society and if they are losing their health at such an early stage then the coming generations will also suffer so it is very important for young people to realize that life is not only about phones and screens but also about their bodies their minds and their relationships with the real world around them and they should make small changes in their lifestyle such as taking breaks from mobile reducing screen time walking or exercising daily spending more time outdoors and developing hobbies that involve activity like sports dancing gardening or even just helping in household work because all of these little changes will bring back their natural energy reduce their anxiety and make them feel better from inside and they should also learn to manage their emotions by talking to friends and family or writing their thoughts instead of keeping everything inside because communication also helps in reducing aggression and stress and at the same time parents and elders should also encourage and support young people by guiding them toward healthy routines rather than only scolding them for using mobile too much because understanding and support can bring real change in their mindset and lifestyle and if we go back and learn from the earlier generation we will see that their secret to a healthier and happier life was nothing big but only the simple habit of keeping the body and mind engaged in meaningful activity and this is what today’s young people need to bring back into their lives if they want to feel truly strong happy and stable in the future so it is clear that the current lifestyle of lying in bed or sitting at the desk with a mobile is harmful but at the same time it is not too late to change and make better choices because health and wellness can always be improved with the right habits and awareness.
In the present time many young people and even adults feel that going back completely to the kind of life that our elders lived is almost impossible because the world has changed so much and our routines are very different and although it is not only difficult but also unrealistic to shift fully toward their way of living still we can make small changes in our own daily lives that can bring very big improvements in our health and wellness and these changes do not have to be extreme or very hard but can be simple and practical things which everyone can do for example reducing our screen time little by little instead of spending endless hours on phones laptops and televisions because this habit gives more rest to our eyes and our mind and also frees up time for other healthy activities and another very important thing is to improve our sleeping habits because many people today stay awake till late night and wake up late or do not get proper sleep which slowly damages both body and mind and if we learn to sleep on time and wake up on time giving our body full rest then our energy and mood both become better and along with good sleep comes the need for healthy eating because food plays a very big role in our life and many people today depend on fast food junk snacks and fried items which are not only heavy but also very harmful in the long run and slowly lead to problems like obesity diabetes and heart issues while if we simply reduce fast foods and start adding more salads fresh fruits vegetables pulses and light home cooked meals then our body feels lighter and stronger and it gives us natural energy without harming our health and when it comes to activity we do not have to suddenly do very heavy workouts because even small stretching while sitting at the desk short breaks during study or work and simple movements can improve blood flow and reduce stiffness and if we add small workouts like fifteen to twenty minutes of body weight exercises or even walking in the morning and evening then our body will slowly start becoming active and healthy again and for those who like more mindful practices yoga and meditation are great options because yoga not only stretches the body but also keeps the mind calm and improves breathing while meditation helps to reduce stress anger and anxiety which are very common in today’s lifestyle and if we keep following these small steps consistently then over time they add up to very significant changes and protect us from many diseases because most of the serious illnesses today like high blood pressure cholesterol diabetes obesity and even stress related mental problems are the result of bad lifestyle and not only of age so if we take care of our routine in small ways these diseases can be prevented before they even start and this means that we do not need to dream of living exactly like our elders with no screens and no modern habits but we can take inspiration from them and add balance into our own lives by adopting simple healthy practices that fit into our modern world and in this way we can live a better life without feeling that we have to give up everything and we can also enjoy the benefits of technology without letting it destroy our health so the truth is that while going fully back is impossible taking small steps forward in the right direction is completely possible and these steps if done daily with patience and honesty can prevent our lives from collapsing due to lifestyle diseases and give us a future that is active happy and peaceful.
