I killed a man, but I am rich, so justice looks the other way.
I robbed somebody, but I have ties, so the system keeps a finger on its lips.
Corruption is not just rooted.
It’s thriving and blooming like a cursed sapling.
It's not just in the broken gates of a government office,
But in schools and everywhere, sane.
Why are we quiet, you may ask?
Anything against them is like writing our death note at the last.
Are we scared of death? Nah! But we fear for the family we leave behind.
So why are we the ones suffering in the end?
Murder is now a play.
If you are rich and powerful, you get away.
Money makes you clean; power keeps you feared.
The difference between the poor and rich is now painfully clear.
