Hilariously, despite the ICJ hearing about this multiple times, no solution, accountability, or a permanent ceasefire has been established. Instead, all we see are headlines such as:
“Gaza population falls 6 percent since start of war, statistics agency says” (Al Jazeera)
According to the 2023 census, Palestine has a total population of 51.7 lakhs; therefore, if 6% of the people are killed, 3.102 lakh people have lost their lives in the past one and a half years. I won’t talk much about Gaza, people already have more than enough information about the atrocities committed by Israel. From aid block to live bombing, the list is endless. Instead, let’s focus on how Israel has tactfully extended its terrorism beyond Palestine, under the cover of the Gaza genocide.
Since the escalation of hostilities on October 7, 2023, Israel's military operations have extended beyond its borders, impacting several neighboring countries. While the Gaza Strip remains the primary focus, Israel's actions in Lebanon, Syria, and Iran have intensified regional tensions and drawn international scrutiny. Israel is smart, she knows that the world is now hyper-focused on Gaza and the governments are mere puppets in the grand scheme of things. She knows that she can get away with anything; no one would dare to stop a country backed by the US, the self-proclaimed superpower of the modern world. Hence, it can continue its delivery of “justice” without the worry of obstacles. Some examples of “The Promised Land’s” terrorism include:
Israel's military operations in Lebanon have primarily targeted Hezbollah, a Shiite militant group with strong ties to Iran and an ally to the Palestinian group Hamas. Following Hezbollah's attacks on Israel in solidarity with Palestinians, Israel launched extensive airstrikes and a ground incursion into southern Lebanon in late 2024. These operations aimed to dismantle Hezbollah's military infrastructure, including tunnels and missile facilities. Despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire in November 2024, Israeli airstrikes have continued, with over 50 reported in April 2025 alone. On April 27, 2025, Israeli fighter jets struck Beirut’s southern suburbs for the third time since the ceasefire began, targeting a Hezbollah precision-guided missile storage facility. Although the Israeli military issued warnings before the attack, the strike caused significant panic among residents and destroyed infrastructure, further exacerbating tensions in the region. Since the ceasefire, Israeli strikes in Lebanon have reportedly killed 190 and injured 485 people. The continued hostilities have also led to significant displacement, with over 1.3 million people affected.
Following the fall of President Bashar al-Assad in December 2024, Israel intensified its military operations in Syria, targeting Iranian-backed militias and Hezbollah positions. One significant operation was the Israeli airstrike on Palmyra on November 20, 2024, which resulted in over 100 fatalities, including members of Harakat al-Nujaba and Hezbollah, targeting weapons depots and training facilities used by Iranian-backed militias. Israeli special forces conducted a raid on an underground missile production facility near Masyaf on September 8, 2024. The facility, managed by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was responsible for manufacturing precision-guided missiles intended for Hezbollah. The raid destroyed the facility, disrupting Iran's supply chain to its proxies. Additionally, Israel carried out airstrikes in Homs on February 7, 2024, targeting Hezbollah members and resulting in civilian casualties.
In December 2024, Israel conducted a series of airstrikes in Yemen under Operation White City. On December 19, Israeli forces targeted the Port of as-Salif, the Ras Isa oil facility, and several power stations and tugboats in Al Hudaydah Governorate. A week later, on December 26, additional strikes hit Sanaa International Airport, Al-Dailami Air Base, Hudaydah Port, and other infrastructure. These operations aimed to dismantle Houthi military capabilities following their missile and drone attacks on Israeli territory. The airstrikes resulted in at least 15 deaths and over 40 injuries, including civilian casualties.
On October 26, 2024, Israel launched "Operation Days of Repentance," a large-scale airstrike targeting over 20 locations in Iran, including missile production facilities, air defense systems, and a suspected nuclear weapons research site near Tehran. This operation was in retaliation for Iran's missile attacks on Israel earlier that month. The Israeli Defense Forces reported that the strikes crippled Iran's missile production capabilities and destroyed key components of its air defense network, including advanced S-300 systems. Iran, however, downplayed the damage, reporting minimal casualties and moderate infrastructure loss. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated his demand for the complete dismantling of Iran's nuclear infrastructure, advocating for a disarmament model similar to Libya's 2003 agreement, which eliminated all weapons programs. Netanyahu also emphasizes the necessity of halting Iran's development of ballistic missiles.
There we have it, one county simultaneously attacking five other counties. Imagine the power she holds to know that no matter what, no one would dare to stop her. Imagine being so confident of one’s ability that you can destroy the stability of five nations at once, and no one would bat an eye.
Since the start of Israel’s reign of terror, all we have seen are macabre pictures flooding Twitter. Entire neighborhoods were flattened. Dead children and babies are being pulled out of rubble. Hospitals, schools, and refugee camps were bombed. UN medics shot down in brought daylight. Clouds of smoke and fire erupted from dismantled groups. Drinking water was rendered unusable by poisoning it with chemicals. Hospitals had to perform life-saving surgeries amidst the danger of the roof collapsing at any time. Journalists wore their Press badges knowing that they could be killed at any time. Fathers had to carry the remains of their children in plastic bags. People swam across the sea to grab the relief packages before they sank. Soldiers opened fire on citizens just for sick amusement. Libraries and universities were wiped out of existence. Protesting reporters were crushed to death by bulldozers. Families were left as pictures only. Children were found torn apart, hanging from ledges. Babies were found burned to death in bombed schools and houses. Displaced families, mostly women and children, were burned alive after an Israeli airstrike targeted their tents. But Israel defended its every action by claiming it was targeting Hamas infrastructure. Human rights and moral ethics of war are a myth for Israel.
