Do we truly have feelings of oneness? Where more than a joint family, we are much more interested in a nuclear family, and more than the development of a country the government is much more interested in advertising their own party on the basis of caste discrimination and the innocence of the common man. In such a scenario we should understand the meaning of it as it is being said by citizens of India.

If I had to describe Our Motherland I would say that -

"It is just not one kind of flower but a variety of flowers that together make a beautiful garden." Thus, India is a garden which thrives in its diversities. We should not forget that Our land vibrates with diverse sounds of music, people, and cultures and is made pious by its faiths. Our country India is like many giant size Jigsaw puzzles. It presents such a huge problem, but each piece has its own unique place and when put it together it becomes our country India. We should not even forget that As a citizen of India, for our own sake, we indulge in a give and take of opinions and ideas, we stick together, Keep together the progress and work together towards a common goal for success. In short, I would say it’s like all the fingers of the hand are not the same but they come together to make a powerful fist. All states cooperate with each other, and maintain a healthy competition among themselves, for the nation to make a global impact. It’s time for a few well-educates that our India is a cradle of a few of the religions that have now spread all over the world and dominate it. It is a home to Hinduism which is more of a blanket term used to cover many beliefs based on the ancient scriptures - the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, and the Itihaas! Buddhism, Jainism & Sikhism were born as a result of a protest against the degeneration of values. India has always welcomed with open arms those who come to her peacefully - Christian missionaries, Parsis and Jews and the stayed on to make her their home. Islam came with the invaders but stayed on to make take root. Her tribal populations have their own pantheon of Gods.

A pluralistic society, India respects the co-existence of all at the faiths and the visionary founding fathers of modern India justly wrote the pledge with this in mind. India is my Country" and "All Indians are my brothers and sisters" The rich tapestry of Indian culture weaves all its subcultures into one. Similarly! there run the common threads of problems, dreams, sorrow, and joys that bind us together. The incidents that took place and we still remember as the 1993 Bombay Bombing, Black Day, Kargil Day, etc. Seeing the present status we have to join hands and strive hard for bringing back India as a prosperous and richest country. The saying goes that Rome was not built in one day. Similarly, if we want to devise ways and means of ridding society of it’s evil means while cherishing our rich culture and securing national progress, we must expose young Indians to modern values

Lastly, I would complete that we Indians, are bound to each other by our heritage, our past, and our present. Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is a success.
