Freedom has a different meaning for every individual and is expressed in different ways by people. India is a country with a huge population, having a diverse culture and multiple religions followed by citizens as per their beliefs and values. There is social security and freedom to profess any religion in our country, which is a sign of equality, inclusivity, and diversity. However, people are misusing this freedom by converting religions of people to add a greater number of people to their community. People should learn to respect all religions and not force or manipulate others to convert themselves to follow their religion, and should not disrespect others' religious sentiments by commenting or through their actions that can cause riots and disbelief amongst each other, which ultimately has a negative impact on young minds and society as a whole.

For the younger generation, freedom is to express their thoughts and feelings through words, actions, art, music, and social media apps. They have more energy and innovative thinking to express themselves. However, these youngsters should keep in mind that the freedom they feel is their right comes with responsibilities, and not just for fun or to compete with others. Every young mind should inculcate the habit of using the freedom of speech and expression appropriately, and not by using obscene or vulgar content. They should to respect others thoughts and feelings by seeing to it that while expressing themselves they are not crossing any limits, not hurting anyone verbally, physically or mentally, they should learn to understand others’ emotions and be to set boundaries with everyone so that they realize it is expected to behave in a particular manner rather than behaving immature and not caring for others sentiments. The youngsters with freedom of speech and expression should be able to carry themselves with dignity and make sure they maintain the same level of dignity for others too, so that there is not misused.

In olden days, females or girls were not allowed to educate themselves, not even permitted to go out of their houses, only to cook food, look after household work, and were married at an early age to bear children and then take care of their family. Females had many restrictions in their daily routine that one cannot think of being in that state. But gradually society started accepting development progress and females were given freedom to be educated, to get married once they are adults, and could also do jobs to earn income and be financially independent. This freedom for women was very fruitful for them as they understood the value of the opportunity, and they had to prove themselves that they were no less than a male.

Freedom has become a life-threatening concern for everyone, because people are taking it in the wrong sense and completely changing the meaning to per their convenience. Humanity has lost its way as humans have become insensitive towards others' pain, and their emotions are fading away as everyone is only concentrating on earning money and fame by all possible means, whether it's ethical or unethical. This has increased corruption and crimes to a level where people are killing each other over petty issues. Freedom is to be respected and adjusted in such a way that no one is harmed either mentally, verbally, or physically.

People have forgotten the true sense of Freedom and how the martyrs, freedom fighters, politicians, and even the common public fought against the Mughals and British government to attain freedom and live peacefully, not only for themselves but the future generations to come. Many Indians were brutally killed, some were hanged to death without any trials or any offence committed, and people struggled day and night to survive without having any basic rights. There was poverty, unemployment, starvation, and illiteracy within the country, but still everyone had a sense of belonging towards each other on the grounds of being brother-sister of the same country and considered the nation as their mother. They could feel each other’s pain and shared happiness with everyone.

But now a days people do not care about anyone’s happiness, dignity, respect or honesty as per new understanding of freedom everyone is free to say what they feel like, do anything they wish to or behave in any manner they feel pleased, there is no safety or security to anyone’s life or respect and freedom is not used appropriately instead is misused by almost every person on Earth by some or the other way. There is no ethics or morality in people's deeds, and even if someone tries to be a genuine person, others start degrading or demotivating them to pull the person down to their level.

Freedom is without being under anyone’s control and living with no restrictions, since everyone has the right to freedom to do so. People are becoming inhuman, having no sensitivity towards others, and are looking for only their own happiness and pleasure, and that is the reason why crimes are occurring in every nook and cranny of the world. It is the duty of parents, family and teachers to teach and explain the real and true meaning of freedom to the small kids, young children and teenagers from time to time so that they become aware of their as well as of others freedom rights and will be able to perform in a civilized manner and by carrying all their responsibilities with proper rules, regulations and norms in line. If the young minds are molded with freedom values during their upbringing, it will definitely bring positive change and impact on future generations; otherwise, the next generation will be more emotionless, aggressive, and inhuman. As children are the future of every country, it is the absolutely important for every government to pay more attention to children rights and freedom and incorporate such syllabus and activities that will inculcate the appropriate mannerism of behavior amongst the children of their country as per their traditions, customs and beliefs so that these young children become most acceptable citizens of society and country at large.
