Sat in the twilight, cast away,
Gazed at the clock, dull and grey.
Unmindful that the war is yet to begin,
Pious time to break the chain.
Felt unsettled, perturbed, and down...
Who knew? Soon,
I would be gracing a crown.
All that I had, they tried to erode,
Unaware of my dear, red, sinful sword.
Carrying a smile was the biggest war,
The only thing that shook my core.
But I stood up, fighting for who?
I would win — was all that I knew!
The breeze which flew, strong and chilled,
With the smell of the blood of the monsters I killed!
The war was over, and so was I,
Sat on the boulder with an immoral sigh.
The empire I built was left shattered,
Once which held my peace, was now clattered.
Was this the end? I wondered,
Or was I just trapped?
That's when I realized,
My entire world collapsed.
Was the reason me,
Or the deeds of the few?
All I wonder now is how quickly
The time flew.
