When childhood ends and teenage begins,
That’s when the story kicks right in.
No more cartoons or bedtime tales,
Life comes in with new details.
Everything starts to change slowly,
All of a sudden, things feel strange.
Your voice, your face, your mood, your height,
Your jeans don’t fit —they're way too tight!
School used to be a place for fun,
Now every test feels like a gun.
Marks become your worth or shame,
You feel the stress, you hate the game.
Your parents say, “No phone tonight”,
You roll your eyes, you start a fight.
They say, “We care,” but you feel trapped,
Like every move of yours is mapped.
You start to see, with time and pace,
That change is part of every phase.
You are not perfect, and that’s okay,
You are learning more each teenage day.
So if you are lost or feel unsure,
Just know that your heart will still endure.
Soon one day, you will turn and see-
That all this helped you become the real “me”.
