Oh! My sacred motherland India !!!
With an archipelago of dreams
With the biggest heart and an enlightened mind.
Fatal scars and tough weeks of battle
Corruption has embodied you with its ugly tentacles.
You are fighting hard on the battlefield
You have lost your arms and weapons
You got scared and were defenceless
Hoped that faith would come strong.
When did this heavenly abode turn evil?
When did lies turn into a way of life?
Why was she bruised and abused?
When did corruption spread like an infection?
Corruption – The cancer of modern society
Where the politicians practice it as their habit
Making the rich become richer,
And the poor turn poorer
Black-money, the illegitimate child
Brainwashing the common man’s mind.
Fasting is not the welcoming step for this stuff
Uniting hands and minds is required to curb this menace.
Corruption sells and kills.
Try to save yourself from its tangles
Never cling to its deeds,
For it is the most unwanted weed
If this weed is uprooted
If black marketing is curbed
India will become a heaven
Where A billion can live in peace,
Let us bring back the lost GOLDEN SPARROW
With our broad outlook and not narrow
It’s time to make every wrong turn right
Never allowing the truth out of sight.
Our world is filled with corruption, destruction and poverty.
I wonder,
When will a lesson be learnt
