What is the aura?
The concept of aura was first popularised by Charles Webster Leadbeater, a former priest of the Church of England and a Member of the mystic Theosophical Society.
Aura is an energetic field that surrounds all living things. It’s made up of different coloured energies that reflect our thoughts, feelings, and overall state of being. Invisible to most, some spiritually attuned people can see auras. We are surrounded by our own energy, our thoughts and our feelings, our soul body, our moods and energetic frequency, etc.
As we come into contact with each other, our aura engages and intermingles. This can be a positive and enhancing experience or a negative and draining one. When people resonate at a similar vibration and frequency level, it naturally feels more harmonious and has a natural sense of ease and comfort to it. When we have vastly different energy levels and frequencies, it can feel misaligned or even strained, and we can experience a lack of connection. Or even conflict, finding it hard to connect and communicate with other people. Energy both attracts and repels.
Due to the nature of bonding and intertwining at an energy level, it can be hard to disconnect when relationships change or end. The cord, having been strengthened with the union of our connection, needs to dissolve and retract to become separate. Naturally, this process can take time.
Different shades of aura and features
Auras have different colours and each of them is special.
Intentionally shifting the colours of the aura.
There are several ways to intentionally shift our aura’s colours and energy, such as
Correlation of aura and the soul
Soul is called Aathma, the divine spark within the divine element that wears the garb of the human or an animal. In some esoteric positions, the aura is described as a subtle body. Physics and holistic medicine practitioners often claim to have the ability to see the size, colour and type of the vibration of an aura. The soul is the eternal bliss and has the self-luminous white light equivalent to 16 suns, said by Sant Kabir.
It’s a radiance of our physical body, not the soul. Soul colour is revealed in astral travel, near-death experiences, or in past-life regression. Hypnotherapy after the death in the past life and also delayering the astral body of the past life personality when we get into the pure soul, in this case, a soul colour would be revealed. Soul colour roughly shows the soul age: white or pink, pink will be for baby souls, yellow for young souls and blue for mature souls and purple for old souls. Dark purple is the colour of advanced spirit guides and green spirit healers. Blue aura usually shows a relaxed, meditative state and peace of mind. If this colour is present most of the time, it can relate to teaching abilities, spirituality, and the ability to be a peacemaker or a diplomat.
Aura is linked to spirituality.
Our aura directly connects to our chakra system and overall energetic vibration. It can reveal emotional, mental, spiritual and physical insights about a person. A Balanced, vibrant aura indicates health, while an imbalanced aura can point to areas needing attention and healing. The aura is not just about pretty colours around someone; the aura is an essential part of our life, because the aura is the blueprint of our soul. As you expand and elevate the power of your aura, you have enlightened the soul. This miraculous pilgrimage of the soul shows itself very clearly in the aura. And there are three basic shapes to the aura, depending on the spiritual development of the individual. These are square, rounded and pointed oval shape auras. The square-shaped aura is the primitive aura. We had this type of aura when the soul was young. The rounded aura is the aura in evolution. It’s also called the mixed aura because it has both enlightened and unenlightened colours moving through it. From the rounded aura, we mature into the pointed oval aura. The pointed oval aura is the enlightened aura.
Image of the aura
There were many attempts to capture the image of the energy. In 1939, Semyon Davidovich Kirlian discovered that by placing an object or body part directly on photographic paper and then passing a high voltage across the object, he would obtain the image of a glowing contour surrounding the object. This process came to be known as Kirlian photography.
Nothing is lost during the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. The spiritual journey becomes a continuous process. The indwelling human soul is made of the inert matter, helium. The helium has its aura, the sum effect of the ideas, thoughts, actions and accomplishments are added as layers around the core of the soul. According to the Akhand Sutra, if the indwelling human soul is equipped with twenty-two layers of knowledge of the universal consciousness, the person will automatically recognise almost all the hidden secrets of the universe and nature.
