Marvel has delivered its first Asian-lead superhero stand-alone with Shang Chi. And this film has been making waves upon its release with several fans praising the film and expressing their love for marvel. People are also appreciating the fight sequences and martial arts performances in the movie. Speaking of martial arts influences, William Pope cannot go wrong with the action genre. William was the cinematographer on The Matrix and its first two sequels, and he has certainly shown his magic in Shang Chi as well. Incredible action is about choreography of course but also cinematography, and hence William benefits Shang Chi because he is bringing expertise to the screen. The uniqueness of action scenes blended with martial arts and some classical combat methods create an element of finesse in the movie that further enhances the experience and sets Shang Chi apart from the other fighting sequences of MCU.

Another most worthy choice is the movie director Destin Daniel Cretton, and also co-writers Dave Callaham and Andrew Lanham, with the devotion of an authentic experience. The Mandarin language used in the movie is also quite intriguing. And in that matter, Shang Chi’s greatest achievement might be helping normalizing subtitles as well. According to Deadline, the film has worldwide earned a total of 139.7 million. In India, the movie has collected a gross total of Rs 7.50 crore in the first two days of theatrical release from 3rd September.
